vendorJazz Pensacola can only deliver programs and continue our mission of supporting jazz through the efforts of our active members. Too often, the same small group of people are repeatedly called on for help.

If you want to assist us, look over the following list of opportunities, and let us know what interests you.

Helping out with Jazz Pensacola events is a great way to have fun and interact with many nice people who are Jazz Pensacola members, as well as the jazz-loving public. You can email us at, or call the office to discuss.

Join the Sparkplugs Advisory Group

Jazz Pensacola board member Kathy Lyon invites you to join her and other JP friends in a relaxed forum for discussion, sharing ideas and building momentum for Jazz Pensacola and our activities. The Sparkplugs (the name implying making ideas and actions happen) meet on 4:30 p.m. the second Wednesday of most months at various locations near downtown Pensacola. Currently the location is O'Riley's Irish Pub, 321 S. Palafox St. No sign-up or commitment needed, and you’re welcome to enjoy a cold beverage or food from the Pub during the session. The contribution of the Sparkplugs has been crucial to Jazz Pensacola programs and leadership.
